Hoover Glass Services (“Hoover Glass,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website hooverglassservices.com (the “Site”) and provides glass installation, fabrication, and related services to residential and commercial customers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

By using the Site or submitting a request, quote, or booking form, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Contact information: name, mailing/service address, phone number, email address

  • Property and service information: type of property, description of the glass work needed, measurements, and any photos you choose to upload

  • Scheduling information: preferred appointment times, service location, and access instructions

  • Communications: messages you send us through a request form, chat, text, phone, or email, including questions submitted through an AI-assisted request tool on the Site

  • Payment information: if you pay online or provide payment details for an estimate or invoice, that information is collected and processed by our payment processor (see Section 4)

We also automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Site, including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to requests for quotes, estimates, and service bookings

  • Schedule, dispatch, and complete glass installation and fabrication jobs

  • Communicate with you about appointments, including confirmations, on-the-way notifications, and rescheduling

  • Generate invoices and process payments

  • Maintain business records for accounting, warranty, and customer service purposes

  • Improve the Site and our services

  • Comply with legal obligations

3. AI-Assisted Request Tools

Our Site uses a request/booking form provided by our field service management platform, Jobber, which may include an AI-assisted assistant that helps answer common questions, route your request, and pre-fill scheduling details based on what you submit. Information you enter into this tool is transmitted to Jobber and becomes part of your service request within our systems (see Section 4). Responses from the AI assistant are provided for convenience; all appointments, pricing, and scheduling are subject to confirmation by Hoover Glass Services staff.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf, including:

  • Jobber — our scheduling, dispatch, request/booking form, and customer communication platform

  • Intuit QuickBooks Online — our billing, invoicing, and accounting platform

  • Payment processors used to process online or card payments

  • Analytics providers, such as Google Analytics, used to understand how visitors use the Site

  • Subcontractors or vendors, where necessary to complete a job (e.g., material suppliers), limited to the information needed to perform the work

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a sale or merger).

5. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate core features (such as our request and booking forms) and to collect analytics, including through Google Analytics, which helps us understand Site traffic and improve the request process. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Site functionality, including form submission.

6. Text Messaging (SMS) Communications

If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages, we (or Jobber on our behalf) may send you appointment confirmations, on-the-way notifications, scheduling updates, and related service communications by text message.

  • Message and data rates may apply.

  • Message frequency varies based on your scheduled services.

  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or by contacting us using the information in Section 11.

  • Text messaging consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any service.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to complete the services requested, maintain business and tax records, honor warranties, and comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices

You may:

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate contact or service information

  • Opt out of promotional emails or texts (transactional/service messages related to a scheduled job may still be sent)

  • Request that we delete personal information we hold about you, subject to our need to retain records for legal, accounting, or warranty purposes

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults seeking glass installation and fabrication services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
